I live in pennsylvania, and when buying wine, wiskey, rum, ect, you have to go to a state store... early last year, I went to buy some captian morgan, and standing in the check out line a young looking kid was in front of me, the teller was an old man, he asked the guy for some I.D. (the kid must have a fake one or just turned 21). The kid showed him, and payed, went on his way, I approached the counter and pulled out my driver's liscense, here, you have to look 27 or older not to be carded. The old man rung up my bottle and asked for the amount, I asked if he needed my I.D., He said without a skip, "Those days are over, you better get used to it...". I damn near cried...

After all, eventhough I haven't achieved all of my dreams, I am still the cheerleader encouraging and empowering others to be able to move forward with their own dreams. well, went back to the doctor again yesterday. I'm so sick with a terrible migrane, god... been throwing up all day and night, not good...... ........but if you like some good new, i think i may finally have some. even though, i still am a little scared. See, they said all my tests came back fine, i even had another ultrasound and the cyst is shrinking... ............. can i really believe this, and the mammomgrams came back negative, so far..... i just don't know how to take it. i am still in a lot of pain, dr said i prolly just have an infection from surgery, gave me the biggest damn pills i've ever seen, at least 3/4" long, lol... no kidding. so hopefully i'll start feeling better, if i can ever shake this freaking migrane, who knows... so, can i believe it, or still be skeptical? ttys, suzy muah, xoxoxo

Nice Quiet Cave
I stopped getting cable about 6 months ago and have not seen much television since then. Well Hubby went out a bought a set of rabbit ears, because we have been jonesing for the news. So he gets everything set up in time for the 10 o’clock news… He has had the TV on for a little over an hour now and I have to say I see why I stopped watching it in the first place. Starting The Year Off With A Bang... And Not In A Good Way...
Just when I was thinking things might be looking up, they decided to slide back downhill. So.... grandma had a stroke. Or something like it. They aren't quite sure since she does seem to be fairly sharp but she's lost most of the function in her left side and seems unable to close her mouth so her speech is pretty garbled. I could have asked them to take her to the hospital where she could possibly be diagnosed and treated but chances are good that it isn't treatable and she gets so stressed out by being moved to new places that it probably would have made things ten times worse.... and undiagnosable. So she'll stay there for the night and I'll go check on her tomorrow. If anything changes, of course they will let me know. I do have some concerns because the papers to make me power of attorney are still unsigned. The lawyer was supposed to get ahold of me last week but didn't. I foolishly didn't contact her, figuring it wasn't urgent. You'd think I would have learned by now.

Stuck Inside These Four Walls.
Sitting here going thru the rates and comments I have been blessed enough to get from people that have taken the time to come and do so makes me smile. So other day I said something at work, was pretty insensitive, and I realized as of late it seems like I will without fail say something w/o thinking. Small Happiness
I have found it amazing that when you think everything in your world is upside-down that there is always something in it trying to rite itself. I never thought I would be a divorced Mom, yet here it is, right here and my new reality. I thought it would crush me yet I have found strength in myself I did not know was there. I have found strength in people around me who I now know I am blessed to have. How does one find the small happiness in all the sadness and confusion? I don't know but there it is, the small happiness, the missing feelings of rightness now back. The feelings that as a whole I am still here and each day will get better and better. There is reasons for everything, reasons we may not understand but they are there just the same. My joy now is finding them, embracing them, and enjoying this new life of self growth and fulfillment.

Hi All! Today marks a whole month of pain and complete exhaustion. I'm not going to turn this into a pity blog. I just want to share what is on my mind. At this point, I'm worried sick. My symptoms could be caused by any number of things...including a bleeding growth, screwed up hormones, or even the c-word. My body is so worn out from the physical symptoms that it is causing mental exhaustion too. I'm trying my best to keep my chin up and think positively, but it is getting pretty rough to do. Bad News - Good News
Late this afternoon, I was called in from work to work the overnight shift tonight; the good news is that I get Saturday off from them. Bad news is that a couple of my clients this week; good news (I think) is that I am having a 20 hr assignment this weekend with another client. I became very sick at the end of October and haven't been able to be on very much since then. A prescription the doc gave me to control my allergies made me deathly ill. For those that don’t know, my Janae went to the hospital on Sunday the 23rd with a stomach ache, well come to find out she had a ruptured appendix. She had infection covering all of her organs and has been very very sick. We spent 11 days and 2 hours in the hospital. She is out now but not out of danger yet. She still has a small pocket of infection in her stomach. She is on very strong antibiotics that she will not take cuz she does not take pills. We have to go back in a week for another CT scan to see if the pocket is gone, if not she has to go back in for another surgery to get it removed. We may not know for some time the damage the infection may have caused her organs but we are staying positive. I just finished watching this movie called "Wristcutters: A Love Story" and wow this was actually a really great movie, with a pretty interesting concept. Slow It Down
Got a ct scan wednesday and found that there are also spots in my lung and chest and liver. I thought my liver would have been pickled from beer but I guess cancer also likes beer. Today I got tatooed for radiation and start it on monday. Dr;s figure the best they can do now is try to alleviate the pain and slow it down some. They're talking chemo after radiation. I asked doc today what he thought my prognosis was and he said at the rate that it's spread probably months. I'm going to fight the fight of my life cause damn it, there more beer out there with my name and alot of living yet to do.

First, look at how easy a schedule the Seahawks had, then look at how hard a schedule the Redskins had but yet, they are only separated by one game. The Seahawks only played two playoff teams this season compared to the five that the Redskins played. What a day a difference makes. I have just been called sexy and that is quite a feat. Prior to that I was chatting as a Monkey to a Pig about the wonders of the year of the Pig people. Happy To Have Survived
It was 3 years ago today (january 4th) that my life almost ended. I spent 12 hours on an operating table with my brain exposed to repair an aneurysm. My brain swelled uncontrollably and I was taken back to the operating room several times in order to save my life. I was in a coma for a week. The sugery left me partially blind and paralyzed and in incredible pain. The recovery has been long and dificult. Parts of my memory have been wiped out. I've Got Good News And Bad News (no Really)

I've been trying one of the hardest typing tests with the driver's license division three times before passing it but today I FINALLY MADE IIIIITTTTTTTTT. The first time they failed me because I "only" scored 74% and their passing score is 80%. The second time I was so down that even my score went way down..., down to 60% and today...TADAAAAAAAAAAAA a 96% score got me way over just "passing". IN YOUR FACE YOU STUPID SQUARE HEADS!!!! I wish that meant I have a job with the driver's license division , but it's not quite that easy. They still have to get me in for an interview and several people got to this stage,so I should somehow make them believe,that I'm better than the ones they're interviewing for the same position. Why Do I Try So Hard?
I dont know, I know this is a bad way to start out 2008, but I cant help but feel as if I should maybe stop tryin to show love where it isn't wanted. New Year
A new year and new beginnings, right? Sort of... I am thrilled that 2007 is over. Last year was a whirl-wind of ups, downs, screw-ups, joys, and sorrows.
