I just wanted to keep you updated on my situation. I am on short term disability at the moment. I have had another MRI done on my liver and the mass has grown bigger. Jan 5th I have to talk to a surgeon and hopefully he will remove it. All the doctors are scared to touch the liver. My doctor finally gave me some Vicodin to help me deal with the pain and to sleep at night. I will keep you updated when I hear more.

wanted my hair done for my christmas party, and you would think that having it booked 2 months in advance would be enough time for my hairdresser to get the hairdye she needed to do it. Sadly, they didn't, and I left the hairdressers really rather miffed. This was on Saturday, just 3 days before the works Christmas do. On Sunday I managed to get a consultation with a new hairdresser's in town, and although they couldn't do the colour I wanted, they 'lifted my hair colour for me so that I could apply the correct hair dye myself, which I have at home. Needless to say, I haven't actually done anything else with it, except wash and style it last night. No-one at work recognised me at first, and they all thought it looked great :) So I think I'll be staying blonde for a while to come yet ;) Look out for new pics soon!!

A turn of events has happened once again for me! Today I got my 4 y/o off the school bus to keep till his dad comes to pick him up. Finals Suck.
It's 5:10am I slept for three hours yesterday. I have a final in three hours at 8am. I have another final on Thursday morning at 11am which I haven't gotten to study for yet. Someone reminded me tonight of the fragility of internet communication. Who to believe, who not to believe? I tend to accept people on the internet at face value initially, and then modify from there based on the consistency of their words and actions. In my life experience as I understand it, I've noticed that people's lies often reveal more than their truths. They show what is important to the person that the person feels needs covering. Live Comedy
So anyway I went to see Craig Ferguson do a live stand up comedy show last week. A friend was going to see a later show, thus giving me the excuse the procrastinate talking about it to the Internet world. So first a word about the venue. The show was at the Chicago Zanies Comedy Club. It is located on the North side of the side (which as a south sider I shake my fist at on general principal) in a piece of real estate that local tavern would have a hard time fitting into. Standing in front of the building, waiting for the doors to open, I thought that perhaps it was somehow dimensionally transcendental (see Dr. Who) or bigger on the inside that on the outside. While not actually physically possible, I've seen businesses absorb surrounding buildings, knocking out the walls between, while keeping one original storefront entrance. This was not the case. .i Am Still Sick + My Updated Christmas List

Migraine
Hi all, I just want to let you know, I am suffering from a migraine. I have had them since puberty, but they have been getting worse since about my late 20's. I'm drunk...but its amazing that I can still type pretty good. That's just how much I rock. Not really though, if I rocked I wouldn't be single. I've been single from a REAL relationship for a little over 2 years now. That sucks...I suck and that's sad. BOO ME! Nah, I think I'm a good person and a good mother...especially since I'm doing the mommy thing BY MYSELF AND going to school full time. Birthday
So Thursday was my birthday. I should've written about it before, but I have been so busy with dead week then finals week. It was fun. Thursday night after school I went to dinner with some people from my lab. Then on Friday night I went to Outback with about 9 other people to celebrate. Misti made me a little mermaid cake. She took a cake decorating class, and she's pretty damn good at it! I'm going to upload it soon. Also, Pat brought me some notebooks that are really cute like the ones she uses in class. I'll take a picture of that sometime, maybe this weekend. Anyway, we had a good time. I had an ethics final due (by email) at midnight on Friday and I tried to finish it before we left but I had some more stuff to write, so I had to finish it after dinner and I had been drinking so it might suck. Last Night I Learned.....
That If you put diesel fuel in a vehicle that runs on gas, it will still run. It just runs much louder, lots of smoke comes out of the tailpipe, loud backfiring will occur. You will also hear some outrageous rattling going on under the hood of said vehicle. I also learned that putting diesel fuel in a gas vehicle does not make your spouse very happy....especially if his occupation is a mechanic. I saw no reason for all of the confusion...I mean he ISSSSSSSSS a mechanic, so it's not like it cost him anything to drop the fuel tank, drain the diesel fuel, replace the spark plugs....just a little time out of a day. Just think what it would have cost had he not been a mechanic. I just don't understand why I was the only one looking at this situation and laughing until I almost pissed on myself. Anywho....to those of you with a gas vehicle, I don't suggest running diesel fuel. :D
