Yesterday My Nephew Made My Whole Year Better
Yesterday I got an email. It read: Hey there. Just a cute little story I wanted to share with you. Andrew brought home a project tonight he has to do this week about his hero. I told him tonight to think about who his hero is and tomorrow we would start the project (we have a meeting tonight). Andrew responed with "I don't have to think about it. I already know who my hero is". I prepared my self for the answer of "my dad" (everything is my dad these days) when he said "Uncle Scotty" I said that was nice and he needs to write why this person is their hero and he told me "Uncle Scotty is my hero because he saved me in the water this summer when he got hurt." DVD Movie Review: The Dukes of Hazard Watched this movie on Sunday. I have had this one since it has been out but was kind of leery on watching this movie because of many people telling me how bad this movie sucked. I guess I must be a real simpleton as I actually enjoyed this movie. The real downers about the movie were Jessica Simpson. If they could have just filmed her from the neck down and kept her from talking it would have been even better. The other downer was all the cussing. Yes I cuss but in the sense of this movie it was uncalled for. Like many others I grew up watching this show. The cussing in the movie was a bad portrayal of what life was in the days of The Dukes of Hazard. Burt Reynolds did a fair job of playing Boss Hogg. As soon as I realized Johnny Knoxville was in this flick I knew that he would be getting roughed up and my expectations were right on the money as he took many a bang through this movie. For the last so many days,i have been driven and passed through the extreme hell and pain coz someone was stabbed me in the back. i was in so much desperation that i didn't figured out what to do and not to do. The stabbing had swere effect on my life. i was in the continuous search to find out that cause. and 2 days ago i have found that cause. By Chris Adams McClatchy Newspapers WASHINGTON - The Department of Veterans Affairs is falling behind in its efforts to provide prompt disability benefits for veterans nationwide, as its backlog of cases continues to grow, new reports show. In fact, the department's performance slipped in the past year even though its workload was lower than anticipated. For its part, the VA said that its productivity did drop last year but that things should improve next year, as a new batch of employees gets fully trained and up to speed. Whack-a -convict
Ok there has been a debate going on for years about the death penalty specifically that Lethal Injection is too soft for the death penalty. I am here today to end this debate. Before I get started I would like to thank the people that invented the Whack-A-Mole game for the inspiration. For those of you who dont what the whack-a-mole game is here is a quick description. Its a game consisting of a table like machine that has lots of holes on the top. Through these holes pop up these plastic mole heads. You are armed with a foam mallet and your job is to whack the shit out of the mole before the head disappears and another one pops up. Now on to my idea. Basically its the same concept just bigger and bloodier. Instead of mole heads you get convict heads. Switching To Another Os?? Should You?
I thought I would post a little on here about switching operating systems. I am certain that the majority of folks on here run some version of Windows. I run XP,2k, 98 and even 95 on various machines. These are not primary machines though, for that I run a PowerMac G5 dual 2ghz PPC and as a secondary desktop I run a custom built Linux box. So the point of this post is to hopefully answer some ?'s about the different OS's. I am doing this because the impending release of Vista has my phone ringing off the hook. First, don't think that you must upgrade. I have family and clients still running win98 even though MS stopped supporting it. My father still has machines running Win 3.1 and even plain old DOS. So what should you do?? MS will tell you and try to persuade you into upgrading to Vista. 39 Weeks Pregnant....
Well I am 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Just had my check up and I am dilated @ 1 1/2cm! GRRR This baby has dropped so much! I had gone down to Florida for a few days to visit my best friend J back in June. While down there I made some observations and by the end of the trip realized that there was a whole world of difference between Florida and Detroit. A Few Words On Life And Death.
Marco Miller is our areas latest loss to the war. He was 36 and just became a father for the first time in August. He never got to hold his daughter. Only got to see a couple of pictures his girlfriend sent him. Marco died from injuries caused by a roadside bomb. He was declared brain dead at a hospital in Germany. They did keep him going till his sister and two brothers arrived to be with him when they stopped life support. He had been living in Florida. Marco owned a photograpy studio. His mother still lives here. Her husband died this past May. And now she has lost a son. Her kids are scattered all over the country. None of them here in Ohio. Red Bull Xmas Cake
Vodka & Red Bull Christmas Cake Ingredients: 1 cup water 1 cup of brown sugar 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup of sugar 1 tsp salt Lemon Juice 4 large eggs Nuts 1 bottle of Vodka 1 can of Red Bull 2 cups dried fruit Method: 1. Sample the vodka to check the quality. 2. Take a large bowl, check the vodka again. 3. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and mix with a little red bull and drink. 4. Repeat. 5. Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. 6. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. 7. At this point its is best to make sure the vodka is still ok. 8. Flavour with red bull to taste. 9. Try another cup - just in case turn off the mixerer. 10. Break two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. 11. Pick fruit off floor 12. or so it may seem with a lot of talk about pulling the troops out of Iraq, but with an unknown rate. The thing that I am concerned about, too, is if the troops are pulled out of Iraq, will they also pull out the civilians who are working there too?? While I do want our troops home as much as anyone else does.... but I am also concerned about any action that may be turned towards the civilians working there. I don't know what the answer is....but, not only do I know folks that are in the armed forces, I also have ex-family members that are over there as civilians that have never shot a gun in their 54 years of their life. As long as the troops are there, I am comforted in knowing that the civilians will be as safe as they can be in a foreign country that is in a current upheaval of political change, which is hopefully for the good. Any ideas??? Do you think that the American civilians who are working there are being considered a part of the decision making process???

so i got fed up of the firefox engine in netscape, keep scrolling the page up everytime i hovered over someones picture. So i switched to using the IE engine for cherry tap and nosticed the differences. First off the pics at the top scroll across. Then the scrolling up of the page stops. Good so far, but i am not too happy using the IE engine all the time. One think i did notice while rating pics via the whats cherry feature, you sometimes come across the page trying to send you to a private photo. Erm surely thats a mistake, i shouldn't even see that error because the random photo picker, would know before me that its private. To me i should just be referred to the next public pic and carry on rating, not see an error message and have to go back to whats' cherry to carry on. Is it worth complaining to the site admins about, well probably not as they have a lot more important things to deal with than a simple programming fault. Where To Start
I grew up with certain beliefs. I wasn't a strong Christian. After my father passed away, I pretty much said to hell with the church. I blamed God to the point that I stopped believing. So I crammed 4 classes and a lab into 3 days next semester. I'm taking Painting 2, Figure Drawing 2, the infamous Advanced Drawing and Painting 2, astronomy, and an astronomy lab. Well Its Official!
I officially fractured my ankle. It hurts like hell. This is how it happened: I was taking my oldest daughter to school this Tuesday morning and it was dark in the garage and when I went to get in the car, I tripped over the foot of the ladder and my ankle and foot did almost a 90 degree turn and I fell into the wall and then to the ground. I was not able to get up and my oldest was freaking out and trying to help me up. I finally got up and it killed me to put my left foot down. I did finally get my daughter to school and she was on time. My left knee also hurts. Oh well, it will have to heal on its own.

Stress Of Finals
I am totally freaking out! I have my spanish test tomorrow which I have not had time to study for because of my damn art project which is due on thursday...then I have my spanish final on the 18th...I need more time! Between full time work and class every night I am barely making it. I support my friends on here in everything that they do, and wish you all the best of luck, but I'm not going to be participating in anymore contests. I'm just a little tired of seeing every single bulletin being about a contest, which is why I don't even read them anymore. Contests where you can vote as many times as you want for someone was a good idea at first, but now I think it's just a way for the person hosting the contest to get points. I mean, they are the ones who really benefit from the contests. You get 5 points per pic comment I believe, so when you have people comment bombing the pics, your getting a shitload of points. I was half tempted to host my own contest LoL. Simply Overweight Or Fat?
Okay like many many many of the women in this country I am struck with the weight loss bug. According to my doctor I should weigh between 120-130 pounds. Until a couple weeks ago I weighed 170 pounds. So obviously I was overweight, but everyone would tell me that I wasn't fat. I currently weigh about 155 pounds. I lost that weight due to a lot of line dancing, and very little food. I wanna know when being simply overweight becomes being fat? What's the difference? I think I am fat. Everyone tells me I am not. I don't understand. Granted I was anorexic as a teen, but thought I had beaten it. I am not writing this so that people will tell me that it's all in my head and that I am not fat. I won't believe you anyway. Just explain where the line is between the two.
