I joined this site a while ago and never really did anything on it until recently. I had honestly totally forgotten that I even had an account on here until someone mentioned it to me. -The day was okay..started off crappy with all the rain. Then i went to work. I got off early because it was raining really bad.So that was good. When i was a kid, Remembrance Day used to mean 2 things....no school, and going to Remembrance Day ceremony with Gramma. I have come to the conclusion that the year of 2006 is really a bad year for me and many that I love. Let me start off by tell you all that the year started off wonderful. I started a new job with Citi Financial and then my hubby and sister Hayley had their birthday together that I had made sure that the both of them enjoyed deeply. Good News
Well, the stutter in my uncle's speech is still there but the swelling from the surgery has gone down completely and the doctors say that the stuttering will go away with a little time and therapy. They did a scan and said that there is no major permanent damage to his brain. I had to share that news with all of you. Thank you all again so very much!

Sad News! Dead At 71....
SAD NEWS Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Finally Things Have Slowed Down!
Well life around here has calmed down so much! My daughter has healed so well its unreal. She may need scar removal when she gets older.. but the plastic surg. said she needs to let the scars shrink more on their own and she may just grow out of them. I AM PRAYING FOR THIS! Cat Lover or Not, this is hysterical! We've all had trouble with our animals, but I don't think anyone can top this one: Calling in sick to work makes me uncomfortable. Fast Forward

Losing A Loved One
Just wanyted to share with you guys how i lost my brother unfortunately he was killed in 1987 hit by a car by chasing a girl which seems crazy but was 16 hormones going i suppose, i had just come to stay the weekend with my family from the coast then that night my heart just stopped we all went to the hospital but unfortunately he died my first reaction was NO screaming then the shock set in was one of the worst days of my life as earlier we were talking about how he would come up & visit we were very close. For years i have tried to get on with life & have but to this day still think of how he would be today in his middle 30,s children maybe married but that is all gone. Just to think of what he would look like etc only till a few years ago could go to his grave for years could see him lying there freaked me out the whole thing seemed like a nightmare but now can go without bursting into tears. Locke was also found guilty by the panel of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated kidnapping and burglary of a habitation. He could face a maximum life sentence on each of the counts except the burglary charge, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Ok folks I am having one of those bad life days. It started off good. I woke up late but hey I got to sleep in so it was good. Things started to go down when my bro in law called to say my mother in law is not expected to live past the weekend. When I met my wife, we were both stationed at Ft. Myer, Virginia. She was a medic and I was a member of the Presidential Saluting Battery. Oy. Oy. Oy. Need I say it again? Just for good measure: oy. I'm moving next weekend into a house from an apartment. This is good. Yes indeed. No longer will I be living under people or right next door to people. However, moving sucks. I got about 11 boxes to put stuff in from work. I'm thinking okay, this'll get me through my books and movies. WRONG! I've got 6 boxes of books and that's about an eighth of my books. Packed 5 boxes of DVDs and have still another box worth of DVDs and about 3 boxes of VHS to pack. Now, we need to talk about video games. I think we've got about 3 boxes worth of those and about another 4 boxes worth of CDs. Then clothes, stuffed animals, pots/pans, dishes, appliences, the list goes on and on. I hate moving. I hate it with a passion. Maybe I can live in the new house until I go into a home.

Hello to everybody out there in LC land...I came to Lost Cherry after a bulletin posted by Bryant McGill said that this site was way better than Myspace and there's the possiblity for more "exposure", "interaction", and what-not here. Honestly, so far, I'm not sure what I think of this whole set up...I'm not really digging the whole "cherry points" thing....seems kinda "pointless" if you ask me....but, yeah, I'm going to tough it out and see what all the fuss is about. So........a little about myself.......I'm the single mother of a two-yr-old genuis child. Of course, as all mothers say, he is my world.
