Things Are Getting Complicated Again
Just letting everyone know what's going on. I got a new stint installed in my heart on wednesday. Thanks to my body being a total douchebag it rejected it again. They put a medicaided stint in thursday morning and removed the other, so far so good. I got a few more appointments until I see if I qualify for a transplant. If things go well with this new stint hopefully the surgeries will be over and no transplant will be needed. I'm sorry I won't be able to be around as much as I have been but things are getting complicated again with this damn heart of mine. Third Trip To Atlanta
Third Trip To Atlanta - March 22, 2007 Tuesday before the 22nd - Went to step daughters place and spent the night and to make it easier for her rather than her coming to pick us up at midnight Wednesday night. The person that was to care for granddaughter backed out stating she was not feeling well so the toddler went with. She slept all the way up thankfully. This trip was uneventful. So much nicer traveling with a sober person! And we found the best time to travel through Atlanta! Virtually no cars on the road around 5-5:30am! Step daughter was going to give me the wheel when we entered the city, but traffic was so light she drove all the way. We managed to get there in record time too! Left at around 12:30(Central) and got there around 5:30 (Eastern). The Third Great Auk Accomplishment Catastrophe
Last week was a week of accomplishments in our extended family! I wish I could have gone into more detail sooner -- you and I both know the details can get hazy if you don't write them down -- but technical problems kept me from that. (Read into that what you want.) Our oldest nephew Patrick after his second attempt got his learner's permit to drive. I joke that this means I'd better stay off the sidewalk . . . he's only allowed to drive his mother's van when she's with him, and that just came or is coming out of the repair shop today after a new used engine was installed. I am SO glad we didn't have to deal with that on our Oldsmobile, which needed a new #6 spark plug as well as a replaced coil yesterday. Until then, we'd been having the car stall on us in parking lots, going up hills, thank God NOT on any busy roads! It would start up again after two minutes or so, but it was really irritating, particularly in a car with power doors and windows. Guess I need to invest in that

Third Week Survived!
OMG!! Can you actually believe that it has been three weeks of maintaining a regular schedule as a DJ @ Blue Orion Lounge -- or, anywhere for that matter???? We were sorry to hear that DJ Purr's Dad died on Thursday and we have all been extremely supportive of her and my show on Thursday was pretty much dedicated to making her feel better. Many folks were making special requests in her honor, as well as she put in her own special requests. Friday's show was a followup with much of the same working playlist with other songs added, as well as some humor from Zappa and other zanny characters. I am going to miss doing the Saturday show tomorrow b/c I have to attend a mandatory training for one of my jobs about Alzheimer clients and CPR, but I am looking forward to next week's three show week. The Third Wheel
Ok so two of my best friends got together last night. That's great and I'm really happy for them but now everytime I'm with them I'm gonna feel like the third wheel. Third Quarter: How often I ponder my life's past experiences, and in doing such, realize my own growth. As of late, I have also come to the conclusion that we are all growing in the same direction. This weekend’s highlight for our family was Sunday night’s birthday party for my and Martha’s niece Breanna. Though she actually turned thirteen on Monday (and I’m realizing as I write this that Monday was also the second anniversary of my dad’s death), she’s obviously in school during the day or should be doing homework at night. Third Realm is a little known darkwave/ebm band that I've had the delight of finding via youtube. This album only has 5 songs and is about 22 minutes long give or take. I got this cd via a free download when I was still on VF and I've listened to it several times since downloading it because while the songs lyrics are haunting the music has a very good beat, which is a very good thing because it hooks you in and leaves you wanting more. My favorite song on this one is "The Ghost of Eva Braun". I also recommend looking up Third Realms other songs, because, while these are good songs, this band has even better ones(Bleeding in Her Nightmare, Like a Moth to a Flame, and The Horror Within You) Overall 3/5(just because it's too damn short)

I'm a little sad... but to be honest I really dont know why. I had a really good day (okay fine, I had really good food today), and things are going well. I have been thinking so much about how things have been going in my life and maybe trying to move out of state. I am actually working on seeing about it. This pain is more than I have ever had to deal with. I can easily say that yesterday was the worst day of my life and even now it continues. I keep waiting for my body to finally let go of this baby so that I can finally start to grieve. How can I grieve a baby that hasnt left me yet? I feel so lost and empty inside.
