So hubby and I were pondering on my lack of housekeeping skills/self control, and I think that it all came down to my upbringing (which is a GREAT excuse). I grew up living in one room with my fighting parents, and I was never told to do the dishes, clean anything up, or even put away my toys. I never had a curfew, my mom bought me beer in HS and did my homework for me. She also let me hang out with a 39 yo biker when I was 17, and have sleepovers at his house (provided, they WERE just that). We never bonded since she spent a year in Singapore and Alaska doing research during my crucial first year of development, and she never had any "sex" talks with me, or "drug" talks, or anything else. Turning 50
Wow, its finally here, on Thursday Aug 21, I turned 50. I am amazed at the fact that I made it this far and I am truly excite about being 50. I feel my journey to get here has been a wonderful learning experience. I have had trials and tribulations as many do but I have tried to look at each experience as a learning tool that has made me the person I am. Although I will be 50, I know my learning is not done and I am looking forward to continuing the journey in this life. I am trying to get all my school work done tonight! I have basically 2 assignments left and that means like 2 days of school and my first 2 classes are done!! I am super excited about it! Mondays Visit
I had a appt. this morning with the doctor that did my back surgery. He wants me to continue with physical therapy. I am still not where I need to be with my shoulder and neck muscles. He also ordered a Cat Scan for my lower back. When I first got hurt my lower back has been in pain but we hoped that it was cause by the problems from the disc in my neck. That may not be the case because it still has not improved and he wants to make sure that I had not popped a disc down in my lower back at the same time. Not to mention when I told him about it way back at the beginning of all this he said he could only treat one injury at a time anyway. So that is what I have to look forward to. After my visit to my doctor I went to see grandfather at the hospital. Luckly my back doc is in the same city at where grandfather has been. I got there around 8:30 this morning. He was still asleep so I just tried to straighten things in the room a little and then got a idea on his schedule for the day. I

I found out the first of March that my husband of 6yrs (we have been together 8) was have~n an affair.I didn't find out until a week or so ago that it's been going on for at least 6 months!He has a separate bank account that I was not a where of and a few other things I won't mention here. Ok well today I dropped off my daughter Breanna 4 her 1st day of pre-k. I was so excited that I hardly had any sleep. She was so cute and funny this morning. My Flight Home...

I posted a stash item of this song. Back when I was younger I had a band. We went to New York City to play in a battle of the bands. Sad News
I will not be on much I found out Friday my 11 yr old son has T cell Leukemia. Update: Sorry I was in such a hurry when I wrote this I left out many details. A week ago today my son Mason's lung collapsed, then last week Wednesday one of his kidneys failed and he had stopped breathing for 2 mins. He was air lifted to the Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Mn. On Friday he was diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia which is treatable thank god. Mason has had one blood transfusion already, several kidney dialysis and many kemo treatments already. So far he is doing good despite what he has been through. He will still have to remain here at Hospital for a month. After that he should be able to go home but will need kemo for at least 3 yrs after that.

So, I went into the hospital around 2pm because the general area my kidneys are was bothering me, and I was thinking that it was just a minor kidney infection. So they sent me to CT to rule out kidney stones, and turns out my kidneys are fine, but come to find out, I have a 5cm sized ovarian cyst that if it gets bigger, or starts to twist, I could end up in some big big trouble. So yea, wonderful news. NOT. Im going to call a OB/GYN on Monday and get a appointment to go in and see what needs to be done. I hope it's a easy fix....

My Vacation
So I just came back from Michigan. I had no idea that place was so amazing,it so reminded me of Russia, I was nostalgic the whole way there. Where I Live
Ok here is my story…. I have 2 kids and we live together in a trailer. Which is located in a nice trailer park on the lake. I choose to live here so that I could have a steady and consistent roof over our heads. I bought this place on my own. I don’t have the funds to invest into a 200,000 dollar home. So this is the proper investment at the moment. Between the ages of 0-3 my daughter has moved 7 times. We were homeless even at one time. She is almost 7 now. My son is almost 4 and he has lived in this same house his whole life. So I am thankful that he has a comfortable home that he is familiar with. Every day I get judged upon with where I live. Yes I have a pretty face. A good job and personality. First Day
For Arkansas children tomorrow is the first day of school. My oldest is entering sixth grade, my youngest should be entering pre-school but I procrastinated so he's still in daycare. The sixth grader is a skaterat. There is no other classification to put him in. He cares for nothing but skateboarding. He isn't completely obsessed yet but he's heading there at an alarming rate. When I started this site on Lost Cherry my life was not in the best place. I was seeking a world that didn't disappoint me and when I blogged it was either expressing my sadness over my loss or pointwhoring myself to the masses. The thought of that now makes me laugh. I titled the blog My News....Beware It's Sad Sometimes, and when I was a popular kid it made top 10. My life has changed a lot since then and while I still morn my loss, the smiles are much greater these days. My fiance tells me I sound like I'm blogging all the time even in conversation. 2 tbl Margarine or water 1 med Onion, finely chopped 1 x Garlic clove, crushed 5 x Celery stalks finely chopped 3/4 cup Cashews, finely ground 3/4 cup Brazil nuts, finely ground 1/4 cup Flaked millet (available at some health food stores) 1/4 cup Bread crumbs 1/2 cup Mashed potatoes 2 tsp Minced fresh parsley 1 tsp Dried sage 1/2 tsp Dried oregano 1/4 tsp Ground ginger 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp Curry powder 1/2 x Lemon and rind, grated Dry wine, veg.broth or water Salt and pepper, to taste 1 cup Chestnut puree * Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. * Heat the margarine or water in a medium frying pan over medium heat and cook the onion until transparent, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add the garlic and celery and cook 1 minute longer. * Put the mixture in a large bowl with the cashews and Brazil nuts, millet, bread crumbs, potatoes, herbs and spices, lemon juice, and grated rind. Add enough wine, stock, or water to moisten the mixture so it holds tog

8-17-08 50th Entry
2 days left till surgery. I've been struggling with a lot of emotions. I've tried several times to make myself update this but my mind just wants to jump like rabbits. For a few days I even had incessant chattering going on in my brain that was driving me mad! Thank Goddess for Bill and Sue. They helped get that slowed down. BTW by the incessant chatter I mean I couldn't stop thinking and wondering about anything and everything and it was to the point I couldn't even rest right. Between the stress of everything thats going on here and concerns over surgery and after thoughts, I'm turning into someone far from my normal me. It worries me. Heck what ISN'T worrying me lately. Seems every one of my dearest friends have something going on, anywhere from roommate's issues to online family thats got health problems. I know for the most part I can't do anything other then send up prayers and try to be there for them when then need to vent. I'm sucking at that big time lately tho.

Job Training
my mother died in feburary. due to her passing away, money has been tight. one day , in late afternoon, it was raining , there was commotion at my apt complex. a couple were fighting. during the fight , one of my neighbors were trying to get to her vehicle. a police car blocked her vehicle. i asked her where does she work at. she explained and i asked if the place was hiring. once she responded, i went the following day. the following day,first i walked down to D.E.S. for my medical plan, and then i walked down to the job. once there, i had taken a typing test as well as an application test. during the 2 tests, i was alongside one of my nowadays co workers named dennis. well once after he and i were done, we waited about 2 hours for an interview. we were both told to come in with all of our personal info . then i got paperwork to take home explaining the job and its tasks, what to expect. on aug. 4th, i began paid training in a classroom scenery. less than a week into

After almost 9 days and 2,500 miles, I have landed safely back in good ole Mayberry. Er, um, I mean Mount Juliet! Slight slip LMAO! My own bed never felt quite so good. At least since last time I went out of town. Going Crazy
I have been going crazy tearing myself apart over something lately. Its been so bad i'm not even sure what to do with myself.
