Last weekend my nieces entered their turtles in the turtle race at the fair. They had had them as pets all summer and had been training them for the event. Am I To Blame?
Last night on my way home from a friends house, I noticed someone passed out( or looked to be passed out) on the side of the road near a bicycle. I thought about stopping, but I didn't really feel safe due to the area it was in. About 15 minutes later I hear sirens near my house and all kinds of noise. This morning when I woke up, I heard on the radio that a 14 year old boy was struck and killed by a passing car.... That was the same boy that I saw on the side of the road. Stating in the article that will be attached, after I passed by I guess he walked across the 4 lane highway and was hit by two vehicles. Now, Should I feel bad for not stopping to see if the person was okay and maybe saving his life? Or should I look at it as it was his time to be called up to heaven? This morning after the kids and I brought Martha to work at day care, I took them to Burger King to take a little edge off their hunger. Juanapalooza 2008
Our Band Nocturnal Ascent played at Juanapalooza. We had a great time. Other bands that played was Tha Backz. They rocked the place; Time Out. these guys were awesome; and Unannounced. Indian Spiced Pilaf
I made this last night, cause I didn't feel like buying a lot of groceries for it. You can add chicken to it and make it a full meal, but I just felt like having the rice alone. 2 1/2 c. water or stock 1 1/2 c. basmati rice 1 onion, diced pinch ground cloves 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ground ginger 2 tbs. oil salt & pepper 1 bay leaf 6 cardamom pods Heat oil in large skillet that can be covered over med-high heat. Once oil is hot, turn down to medium, and add cloves, turmeric, cinnamon, bay leaf, and cardamom. Cook about 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add onion and ginger. Cook until onion is soft. Add rice, and cook stirring until it's coated in oil. Season with salt and pepper, and add stock or water all at once. Bring stock or water to a boil before using. Turn heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 mins.

Economic Depression
I honestly can believe the whinging that’s going on at present over the credit crunch, how we are heading for a recession etc etc. In my opinion we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We in the west have caused the problem in the first place, and for to long we have lived above our means as if it was some divine right that we should be able to have whatever we wanted. The way I see it there are 2 reasons for the current problems we have in the west. The first one is a current problem. Since the late 80’s we have got greedier than ever as a people. We have seen no problem with living outwith our means, borrowing huge amounts of money to buy houses, cars etc etc. We would borrow as much as we could, not really looking into the fact that if the economic climate changed we could have problems repaying it. Well after 8 months I am finally getting my car ready to race. Sometimes in life, we walk down paths that lead us in the wrong direction somehow. And when we find out that, that's happened, we try to turn around in the middle of that path, and get caught up SIDEWAYS--- unable to go forward to where we were going, or back, to where we had been before. In MOST cases, we're able,(As Humans) to figure out how to get "Un-Stuck" and continue on our journey, to wherever it was we were going in the first place. Just Rambling
Really don't want to get up today. Tired.. a bit moody.. and just want to sleep lol. But, I have so much work to do. It's at that stage where there is so much that you don't know where to start so it gets overwhelming. The complete opposite of last year. David got braces last week.. plus he got his wisdom teeth and 2 babyteeth out. He said the pain was not too much. Other than that its been a quiet timee. It's been cool enough in the evenings to relax in the hammock.. not at all like August. Well.. I suppose I should stop avoiding work and get my lazy butt moving.

New Diet
Subject: dog food diet I have a Golden retriever & I was buying a large bag of Purina at Wal-Mart and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Will Anyone Love Me Again?
Well this is the beautiful city that im alone in right now. Sometimes i fell like crying. This has been a stressful year no doubt. Will anyone fall in love with me again. I know that i need to take care of myself but i cant help think what it would be like to get maried and have a sweet lil girl. Im 33 now and i wanna spent the rest of my life with someone. Trying Harder
Well right now im not really doing much with my life. I know its kind of sad, i dont really have any freinds. Not too much going on right now. My gf passed away this month. Im doing okay for right now. Just had the funral March 22, 2008. We took her off life support she was pretty much gone. Just to let everyone know, my mother had yet another cath done today on the artificial artery which runs from her heart, to her kidneys and bowels. The graphs have closed up and it looks a if she is going to have to have surgery which we had hoped could be avoided to replace it. She goes back to the surgeon next Monday. We won't know more until then. I am staying optimistic, just wanted to let everyone know what's up. Thanks for all the well wishes today. My Summer

Today I went to Peoria to see my neurosurgeon, Dr McCall. He told me the same thing that Dr Dave told me. I have a hernaiated disc, that is pressing the nerve that runs down my leg. Then we went over my options. Which were basically surgery, or I can get some shots into my spine, which he hopes will reduce the swelling. I decided on that, with a followup at the end of September. At best, it cures the problem and I don't need surgery. But he did say more than likely eventually I will. At worst, they won't do anything, and I'm right where I'm at right now, and it puts me right around where I wanted to have the surgery anyway. If I do end up with the surgery, he said it is an hour long procedure, with 90% success. They shave the bone around the nerve, so it quits pressing against it. I really would like the surgery soon.
