Tuesday, August 5, 2008 - Morning practice, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM THE GUNTHER CUNNINGHAM EXPERIENCE Today it was more lessons in reacting to offensive formations and motion for Gunther Cunningham’s position group, and again the atmosphere was more like a classroom session. Cunningham was relaxed and actually extremely pleased with his linebackers today, as apparently they’re becoming more and more well-versed in his system. Throat Cancer
I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago because I have not been feeling good and lost my voice. Well doctor first thought I had strep throat again so he ran some tests and didnt like them so I did more tests and found a tumor around the voice box and throat. So last thursday I went in to surgury to have the tumor and tonsils removed. I have to go back in 2 weeks to see if I have to chemo or radiation. I am very sore and tired. Can't talk which just plain sucks. So I wanted to let everyone know what is going on and I won't be on as much as I like!! Thank you for the get well cards, thoughts and prayers.

Court
I had to go to court today to be a witness for the city. I saw a guy take a bunch of stuff out of the store I was in go out side and then come back in and try to retun it for money. This whole thing is on video. When store security tells him that they have him on video stealing the stuff and so not only does he not get any money but to never come back to the store the guy gets mad and acts offended yelling out F bombs like it is going out of style. When store security tells him to leave he threatens to stab the security officer. So we go to court and he gets a deal they drop the second count the count were he said he would stap someone and he pleads no contest to the theft count. This is is sentence. 365 days in jail of which 355 days are suspended and of which the other 10 days will be on a work crew. he also gets 2 days off of that for time served. He also got a 5,000 dollor fine of which 5,000 doolers was suspended. Love the court system ( YA RIGHT )

Today was the funeral of my favorite aunt. She was a staple in this town, always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed one. She watched my youngest daughter every day after school for years and never took a dime, she didn't want my money, I was her niece!! Special lady and she will be missed. As I spent the last couple days at the funeral home and at the funeral and saw the 100's of people who came to pay their respects, I made contact with old friends, and family I haven't seen in years; it made me think that someday my friends and family would be gathering like this for me, and it made me wonder if I have been the type of person that my aunt was. I hope so, for sure. I know this is the computer, and I have not met most of you in person, but some of you, you know who you are, have touched my heart and I know my life is greater because of our conversations and relationship/friendship. I just felt the urge to let you all know that I care about you, on line friendship or not.

8/5/08 BILLINGS - An elderly man died Monday after an accident in the parking lot of Albertsons at 1212 Grand Avenue. Sergeant Kevin Iffland with the Billings Police Department said a 73-year-old man, whose name is being withheld till family is notified, was run over by a car in the parking lot at about 11:15 Monday. Story continues below ↓advertisement Paramedics performed CPR on scene before transporting the man to Saint Vincent Healthcare. He died at the hospital later in the day. Police said the victim apparently fell to the ground before a 1990 Ford Taurus, driven by a 77-year-old female, drove over him. They are still investigating the accident and have not issued any citations yet. Yellowstone County Coroners plan to conduct an autopsy Tuesday to determine if the man's death was caused by the accident or a pre-existing medical condition.

What A Day, What A Week...show Your Support
It has been tremendously busy last week, and this week is definitely more so. I have been doing more real time sessions and phone/cam sessions than usual lately. Q:Tobacco cessation and insomnia? I quit smoking three weeks ago. I was taking Chanitx until about two weeks ago. Cigs are done, gone, not an issue any more. *But now* I can't sleep. It's been about eight days now that every night, about an hour after I fall asleep (if I actually manage to fall asleep), I wake up and realize I am WIDE awake. Getting up, reading, etc., doesn't help. My mind is just going a mile a minute, can't slow it down, can't shut it up. Finally around 5 or 6 am I fall asleep. I'm getting maybe 4 hours of rest a night, which is just not cutting it; I am a total bee-ach without sleep lol. My question: how long can this tobacco cessation induced insomnia last? And, are there any home remedies I can take/do to help me sleep (I don't/won't take sleeping pills). I Need Help - My Daughter Is Missing
My eight year old daughter Katalina Estelle Rubio has not been brought home after her dad’s visitation this summer. She starts school in thirteen days and all numbers I have for her father have been disconnected. Her Fathers name is Eduardo Rubio and lives at 501 W. Daniel St. in Uvalde Texas. She was last seen with her grandparents and father two weeks ago. I have called the Uvalde county police department where they have done a well child check up and no one has been home and I have called my local department and the officer that took my report and has gone on vacation till thursday so the report wont be filed till she gets back. I Really Did Miss Everyone

After two months of research and experimenting (yeah, I'm vain, I know), I can quite confidently say that my hair is not the follicle equivalent of Satan, it is only the follicle equivalent of diversity gone horribly wrong. I can pick out three locks of hair right next to each other, and one will be a tight ringlet, one will be wavy, and the third will be straight as an X-axis on a Cartesian plane. What's more, the curly hair varies between curly or wavy at random, and the wavy hair will be wavy, curly or straight on any given day. Fortunately, a bit of Internet research goes a long way, so that for the first time since fourth grade my hair is actually looking great again. 9 Months
Ok so my daughter Megan will be 9 months old on August 8th. And lately the bigger she gets or when she gets a new tooth i stop and think for a mintue about how i could had lost all these special moments 9 months ago. Chicken Liver Pate
I know what you're saying, you hate liver. You had it as a kid or an adult and you hated it, and you never want to eat it again. Well, I'm here to tell you that most people just don't know how to cook liver properly, and you're missing out. 1 small or medium onion 1 tub chicken livers 2 or 3 tbs butter 1 or 2 eggs, hard boiled salt & pepper Dice the onion and saute until dark golden brown. And I mean brown. I know you think you've overcooked it, but you haven't. Remove from skillet, and saute the livers until they're fully cooked, which means no pink. It may be liver, but it's still chicken. Cook that shit good! Mash livers with onion, butter, and eggs until it's all pasty. You can use a fork or a potato masher. I just throw the whole mess into a food processor because I'm lazy. Season to taste.

Yesterday I had to lie to a person calling in for a reservation and say that we are sold out. The reason? A stinky nasty attitude. People who are assholes on the phone just fail to realize that I a) don't get paid commission on the rooms sold, hence I don't give a fuck if the room is sold or not. b) Don't want to hear their nasty bitchy ghetto voice, let alone see them and their 10 kids in person c) Can tell them whatever the lies I want to get them forever out of my hair. Whenever I make hotel reservations, I am extremely courteous because a) I like people to be that way with me b) I know they can BS and say they are sold out too.

I know, this is a little late. I've had some things going on though, that I haven't been able to get to the movies to see it. So I've had two weeks of hype, I've heard top ten movies of all time, I've heard Oscars, record setting box office...all of it in my head when I went to see it. They were correct about the record setting box office. I tried to keep an open a mind as possible, because I do like to be fair. And for 3/4's of the movie, they were right, it was spectacular. Then TwoFace was introduced, and I wasn't as impressed. From the beginning though. I want to get it out of the way. Heath Ledger was the best Joker ever. In fact, they will be hard pressed to reintroduce the character, and not have people find that disagree. He was the perfect mix of crazy and sanity, that IS the character. Motorcycle Wreck
John was in a VERY Motorcycle Wreck on Sat, we were all Riding in Sturgis. A lady messing with her Radio Crossed the CenterLine and Hit John Head-on. John was thrown over the car and was not Breathing, he was revived and airlifted to the hospital, they said he died 2-3 times in the Air. He broke his Neck,Back,Arm,Ribs and Legs. He has Brain Damage and they think he will not have Use below his Waist. He went in to Renal Failure last night, has a lot of Preasure on his Brain. UPDATE We have Decided to take him off Life Support, he would never want to live this Way. He is holding his Own right Now, but the next 48 Hours are going to be tough. Docs have releived the Preasure to a safe point on his Brain UPDATED 8/8/08 John went Down Hill Yesterday, but we still have hope, Preasure is Building up on his brain. UPDATE JOHN PASSED AWAY LAST NIGHT, Doc said there was just to much damage for him to over come. he was the BEST little brother I could have had.

My Thoughts Of People
I miss the innocence and simplicity of childhood for a variety of different reasons. It seems that the more wisdom and intelligence I gain in life, the more annoying everything becomes. I miss being ignorant but genuinely happy. Some days I rather be a perky idiot than an observant pessimist. I meet and encounter individuals everyday. I listen to them intently. Rarely do I ever meet someone who is actually interesting and has something worthy to say. However, I listen. Most times I am being sincere, but slowly that trait is fading. Small talk is stupid. My Past Weekend
As most of ya'll know I took the younger two boys to see Thomas the Tank Engine in Lakeville on Saturday. It's the second year in a row they've been to it. It's like crack for them. Vegas
Hey, i just got back from my Las Vegas trip. It was really fun but was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!I got there friday and stayed till today. On friday, i got there at 5pm and it was 116 degrees outside with about 20mph wind! and at 2am it was still 96! It was crazy but at least they got a lot of hotels to stay in :D I went to see Phantom of the Opera and it was definately worth it. The theater was really cool also. Monday's Aren't Really That Bad!!
Well, usually Mondays are dragging days after a great weekend. But I have found that I can keep my weekend going and not have that let down, back to work week feeling. I work 1/2 days Mon/Tues/Wed and then full days Thurs/Fri and my week goes oh so much better!! I have noticed tho that after a very busy weekend, working around the house, running errands and just doing general "putzing" I lose my energy a bit earlier and have a little bit of a harder time "keeping up" because of the MS. But I can still do just about everything I did before, thank goodness! I'm just very happy that my fingers haven't given me much problem, even tho I've lost some sensation in them, at least they still let me type and do many other things....smile. New Things In My World
My son has gotten a contract to rum AMA motocross and although I'm happy for him..I'm also concerned about his safety. He's good but that won't stop the injuries that I know he will face. In the sport it's not if you get hurt but when and how bad. No matter what happens I support him. He's getting to live his dream... doing what he loves and getting paid for it. Moving On
Have you ever been in love and then after it ends for whatever reason it ends you're still left with that feeling inside, that love that you still desire?
