Words From My Brother.....
As I type this through heavy tears and a ravaged heart I needed to let those of you that dont already know that Valerie and I lost our babycakes, our angel Nathaniel. Tuesday as Val was picking him up from daycare it was discovered he had a fever and went into a febral seizure. The EMT responded, resuscitated him and kept him stable. As he was in ICU he was gradually prrogressing day-by-day. We were given hope of "when he would get out of the hospital" not "if"... Our nightmare that we had belived would never be true came to reality on Thursday when a CAT scan showed brain swelling due to potential lack of oxygen sometime durring cardiac arrest on Tuesday. The swelling did not subside and as of yesterday he was declared brain dead and a time of death was called. I am heartbroken, numb, horrified, scared, angry, disbelieving and I want sooo badly to be with him again walking, talking, dancing and all those things I now wish I hadn't taken for granted. Any Reason I Shouldn't Implode!?
So the company my husband has worked for the last 10 years tells him 2 weeks ago that his full time position was being eliminated by the company to put in place a new system. Because for some godforsaken reason businesses have completely relied entirely on the computer to file through applications. Completely Out
of shape!!!! I already knew that but now I'm suffering about it. Working out is such a bitch. I worked out this morning. Running! Jump rope! etc etc. It wasn't even hard core, just for me since i'm lack muscle. I was so done but when I got home I took a 20 minute cool down walk, I was going to do three laps around this field but only did two because I got the urge to go! hahaha. I feel like I should go again in a little while and do the three laps, jogging. Except I know thats not gonna happen because I hate running. The working out isn't bad, but ugh running! haha. I'm such by like friday I'll be fucking running around with out dying. I mean I drink and smoke so my lungs were like killing me even though I haven't smoked since like Saturday. Oh and lunges are evil LOL. Yay to waking up at 430 am and working out. and eating healthy food........ ? The good thing is I have no desire to eat anything since that work out left me feeling joyful. I'm just thirsty

Keep Rising/earls
i went to bed around 12 and woke up around 320, i tried to go back to sleep but i couldnt so at 400 i went for a drive! one thing i like about being up so early is that driving is actually nice.it reminds me of when i used to go to apple valley and come back early in the morning and i get back and go to earls. i miss that so much i miss my earls family.it really sucks not to be able to go there during times like this when i cant sleep.when earls closed a big part of me died.i guess it was time for us to leave our safe place though,now everyones growing up.i would love to be asleep right now or at earls welcoming the sunrise with squinted eyes and a cup of coffee complete with a thick layer of earls grease followed by a drive to the beach before going to school hahah

Sad And Depressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(well this is my very first time writing one of theses but i just had to I know most or all dont want to hear about this and im sorry if this blog isnt something u want someone to blog about but i just had to talk about this cuz they say it makes it easer to heal) I just lost the #1 man in my life my grandfather he ast away on saturday june 14th at 10:00 i just cant stop thinking and crying about it and i know its very normal but i just cant belive this has happend just 6 mounths ago he was in or seemed to be in perfect health he has always been a hard worker from dusk till dawn he work harder than a 21 yr old and he was 76 yrs old then all a sudden he got very ill we took him to hospital after hospital and they just gave him antibotics and sent him home then last monday they finaly admited him for dehidration cuz he couldnt eat or drink anything and he wasnt having a bowel movement but they only gave him iv liquids and antibotics so friday we trancferd him to a better hospital and th

Vacation
For those that are not aware I leave today on vacation. Seems someone in the family felt that asking my 4 year old neice where we should go. Following suit of most 4 year old she said Disney and it was decided. It should be a fun trip though. We board the plane at 4pm this afternoon June 16th and return on June 21st. My day ends much the same as any other. I get home from work, stressed, but relieved another loan closed and funded. You are already home, having left your job a bit early. My Online Neglect Is Working For Me!

Over the weekend we had a poker run and one of my friends was in an accident. He had a rider and she was also hurt. A Good Dad??
I just have a question. If your birthday fell on Father's Day, what would be more important...spending time with your children, going out with your girlfriend and friends or making time for all of it? Well, I know a particular father that decided to spend time with his girlfriend instead of his children. He called the day before to get his birthday and Father's Day wishes. When asked why his plans changed from spending time with his kids to spending time with his girlfriend...his answer was, she made plans for me a week ago and I don't want to disappoint her. June 16th 2008 Severe Weather!
A cold front will move across the area monday afternoon and monday evening. The air out ahead of this front will be out of the SW and will be quite warm. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s depending on where you reside. The air coming behind this front is as much as 20 degrees colder and possibly colder then that even. As is usually the case, cloud cover will limit the severe possibility ...however...there should be enough sunshine especially over the area where I have the moderate risk. Taking into consideration afternoon heating along with CAPE VALUES of 1500, and a cold pool of air aloft..this should help to produce steep low level lapse rates along with sufficient shear. Father's Day

They gave my girls dad 2 more days on support so they can be there with him as he goes. Amanda left for tampa tonight and Jessica will arrive tomorrow. Fathers Day Part 2
Okay, so I thought I would have limited blog space, but I guess the higher level the more they let you rant on LOL! I have been blessed to have talked to my daughter, son and grandson today for Fathers Day and hoped that I have spread some good cheer and smiles to people here and in the mumms, and Fubar in general. My children's mother also told me Happy Fathers Day, but the best news of all is that a friend of mine, who hasn't been allowed to see his children in over 7 years, finally talked to his son tonight. Today And "special" Days
Today I got to thinking, and for me that could be a dangerous thing. What's New?
Well, I was sick on superbowl sunday through the end of the first week in March. To make matters worse, I had an infection in my head that busted both eardrums so I couldn't hear for at least 2 more months. I also didn't have a landline hook up but now I do. Summer break is here so I have all 5 of my kids with me. It's so nice to have them together. I'm in school getting my bachelors degree in criminal investigations. I look forward to working a little again. I have my own business at home but need to get my degree. With the way the economy has been going, getting my degree will be well worth the wait.

OK, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! I hope everybody had a good time over the holidays. Ok, it's the day after Christmas and I am sitting here debating if my current relationship is worth all the trouble that it seems to be taking to make it work, is it just me or is there something severely wrong with this? I had to work half a day on Christmas Eve before my girlfriend returned with her mother to take me to Owatonna, Minnesota for Christmas. LOS ANGELES -- A mom and her live-in girlfriend suspected of torturing the mom's 5-year-old son were in custody Sunday, and the child remained in critical condition at a hospital, police said. I’m so tired on being alone, every time I think I find someone I can truly be happy with I just get hurt or it falls through… Along with the physical pain from the war, and the mental pain from the war, it just pushes me over the edge. Growning Up
You know sometimes grown up can really suck. Especially when you have the motivtion to do so. I mean I was always comfortable where I was in my life. But then I met this wonderful woman. I guess if I'm going to do this I might as well do this right. Blogging isn't what I normally do to express my feelings, I just say what's on my mind...and try to do it in a way that is encouraging instead of discouraging. I haven't written on this in awhile. I didn't keep up a whole lot on it anyway and when I did get on it was just to read what Duane was writing from Iraq. Well, he's home now and this happily ever after that you see on tv and movies that are taken to the hilt is completely wrong. Sure we have fun times, but its a lot of stress on both parts. I have no idea how he's feeling most of the time, because he doesn't communicate with me. And it seems one fight after another with very little resolved since the last one. Sorry Friends, I've Been Busy
Sorry I have been away so much lately. I am a union carpenter by trade.....for those whom haven't read my profile. Presently I am working to help build a new building at the University of California, Santa Cruz. We are building a new construction 2 story building for Digital Arts. Yep, I am off of the High Rises for a while (Yay!!! LOL) I get up @ 4 am, leave for work before 5 am..... drive an hour and a half....start work @ 7 am get off work @ 3:30 and get home between 5 - 5:30 pm. Cats are starving....or so they think,....... so I barely get my stuff set down before I feed them, shower, cook dinner, eat, clean up the kitchen, make lunch & coffee for tomorrow, and relax a bit, watch a little tv to unwind, but by this time, I'm finding it difficult to keep my eyes open.....lol It has been difficult to find much time during the week for the computer, but I do try to check messages and hang out a little on the weekends if at all possible in between loads of laundry, housew

i havent been able to afford my prescription lately so i have to suffer with my headaches and take pills when i get bad ones but another downside to not having my prescription is that i dream. for some reason when i have my prescription i dont dream very often and when i do they are usually pretty good.when i dont have it my dreams are usually so intense i wake up feeling like i have not really slept.i also get depressed or have nite terrors and on top of that whenever stuff goes wrong in my life the worse it get, and the worse all that shit gets makes me more likely to start yelling and sleepwalking and i fucking hate that shit.ive also found that i have blackouts more often when i dont have it.im working 2 jobs again tho so hopefully ill be able to fill it soon.it sucks because my dreams are tied to my emotions and these past couple weeks it has taken its toll.

Virgen De Guadalupe
Well, it is official. I am going for my third and hopefully last tattoo this Friday on the 20th. I am excited, but so nervous as well. Simply because it is going to be placed on my right ribcage, which is supposed to be a REALLY sensitive area. and the Virgen de Guadalupe tattoo is going to take 3-4 hours and maybe 2 sessions. If Matt breaks it into two sessions, I will have less pain, but I kinda want to get it all done at once. I am going at 5:30 to Psycho Tattoo by my house after work. My first two tattoos lasted 15-20 minutes each...I love them so much. The Celtic Cross on my ankle hurt more than the Ireland clover tattoo on my arm...but that's because I didn't have a friend with me with the cross. The tattoo artist was Brian Snape. Kinda funny if ya ask me. Haven't told my parents yet because they are in Turkey, but w/e. I am almost 20 and I can do what I want...even if they do support me but not my decisions. in august of 07, i lost my job of 15 yrs...i was very pregnant, and every interview i went on, i received the crazy look. the look that said, why am i wasting my time interviewing her, why would i hire her knowing that as soon as she starts she will be off again for 6 to 8 weeks...so it became very clear i wasn't going to find a job before the baby was born. I had my surgery on 8/4/04, at my pre-op physical which was 2 weeks prior to surgery; I was at my highest weight ever, 455 lbs. At that appointment I was diagnosed with High blood pressure and Post partum depression. Even though it was almost a year after my daughter Lindsey was born. Friendship
I used to believe that no matter what I was going through I could always count on my friends to be there just to listen and be understanding. New Job Offer!
I got offered the coolest fuckin job on Friday! I'm gonna be joining an historical Scottish society (called Clanranald). These guys are currently working on building an historically accurate medieval fort village and do a lot of work teaching children all about what life was like in Scotland at that time. And that's where I fit in. I'll be learning all about the subject matter and travelling around schools speaking to children. I'll also need to go to 'fight school' to learn the martial art of sword fighting. The clan regularly do stunt work as extras on movies and TV documentaries and commercials and I will also be taking part in this side of things too. Eventually, once the fort they're building is complete, I'll be working there as a guide, leading school groups and tourists around the site. ROME (Reuters) - An Italian couple who were caught having sex in a church confessional box while morning Mass was being said have repented and made peace with the local bishop. New Experiences
Here's to new experiences. My sister and I went out drinking and dancing last night. First time we ever did anything like this, and it was an absolute blast. Well, except for the part where she grabbed the top of my shirt and pulled it down and had me flash the bar. Thank god I had a decent bra on! Talk about getting sobered up really fast. lol. Every time I turned around, she had yet another long island ice tea in her hand and was out on the floor shaking her ass. And she can definitely shake it. I wish I could move like she does. On three separate occasions I had guys come up to me and ask if she was with anyone. Told them to ask her to dance, but they were too chicken shit. Luckily for me, there were two people there who we had known since I was a baby, and so when she up and disappeared for long periods of time, I still had people to talk to. Next time, I'm taking some more people with me cause I can't keep up with her. lol. That way when she's out doing her thing, I've got people

Dancing Fun!
Will took me to the horseman club last night...it was awesome...had a bunch of fun lots of dancing, people are so friendly and the music is great. We've decided that will be our new hang out country bar in replacement of cowboys in Arlington who has yet to fix their AC...you almost die in there it is so damned hot. Way to hot to dance without sweating and passing out on the damned floor. lol Anyhow, it was a fun night, met some new peps and things were really great...looking forward to more nights like that one in the future. Hope you all had a terrific wkend. Tomorrow is my next 6 month breast cancer boob-o-gram...wish me luck. Every six months the big squeeze...lmao and I always sit there and wait for the results with as much positivity as possible. I can't sleep so i figured i would be productive.. started calling hotels in California for our trip in August. Prices are starting to go higher because it is peak season (i work in a hotel i know these things) According to my mother (the know it all that she is) I HAVE to wait until my sister decides what kind of hotel she wants to stay at because me and my sister MUST stay at the same type of hotel. We are going to a TOURIST area. Prices are already HIGH... and can only get higher. My mother is saying we HAVE to stay at the same hotel because she doesn't want my sister to pay to rent a car (but it is ok for me to do it..) She seems to think that even though I am going to pay for my car... my sister should be able to share it with me. Don't get me wrong.. i love my sister... but i really don't feel i should have to share my rental with her. I also don't think that as the baby sister i should have to do EVERYTHING for her... I have looked at rooms.. have prices set

Outdoor Cushions
You can use extra matching outdoor table cloths to make cushions and pillows to match. When you measure and cut, you have to keep in mind that you have a 2 inch edge all the way around so measure and cut accordingly. Use tacky glue and paint a strip of glue covering the 2 inches along the edge. Press together the glue on three of the sides and use a line of clothes pins on each side to hold it in place until it dries. When it's dry and secure, slide the cushion or pillow inside, then glue the last side and use a line of clothes pins again to let the remaining side dry.
