Things I Have Learned ...
Yes, I did steal this! However, I will be adding my own thoughts in order to make it MINE! :) Things I've learned - That you cannot make someone love you. My Grandpa Is Dying
its scary how fast it can happen....just this last wednesday he was up and watching walker, texas ranger and joking around with my mom and i....then a few hours of sleep on everybodys part and it all starts going down hill, he isnt speaking at all now, he cant even enjoy a cig. or a shot of brandy. his eyes remain shut but his chest continues to move up and down. he is no longer there but his body hasnt let go yet. and its hard because all i have is family right now, and what few friends i have....i need a shoulder to cry on or just someone who can help me get away from it...make me .laugh about stupid shit to get my mind off of losing my grandpa. last year it was my grandma this year its my grandpa. :( just needed to vent.

Connected Isolation
Connected Isolation - with the information age in full swing the internet has thrown people from all walks of life and persuasions together, but the downside of this is that people are becoming more isolated. After joining and taking part in many communities it has left me somewhat dismayed at the shenanigans that go on. My grand mother died yesterday, she was an extraordinary woman of strength, courage, and passion. I now know where I get that fire in my belly from. Her. She was 93 years old and lived everyday to the fullest. She was weaker in the last few years needing assistance from the family, but we all pulled together for her, she would be proud, and just sometimes didn't know how to say it. So now we must remain the way she taught us all to be, diligent and strong, yet soft and caring about one another without the drama and kaos... Long Day
What a long day!!! The paper work from the day before was screwed right up so I had to go back and fix it. I really don't care for fixing other people's mistakes, especially knowing they are not my mistakes. If it was my own mistakes, I wouldn't mind going back to fix them. I got 2 pay raises, was made a manager and now I'm working on certification for another higher level of manager's position. I like the pay raises but the responsibility I can do without. Ok so the interveiw went pretty good from what I understood... The only things I could see that I had against me were I've never worked in a newspaper before... Tuscan Chicken With Warm Bean Salad
1 4- to 4 1/2-pound chicken, cut into 10 pieces (2 breasts, each halved; 2 wings; 2 thighs; 2 drumsticks) 9 garlic cloves 1 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice 4 tablespoons olive oil 3 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary or 3 teaspoons dried 2 1/2 tablespoons grated lemon peel 1/2 teaspoon sugar 3 15-ounce cans cannellini (white kidney beans), rinsed, drained Arrange chicken in 12x9x2-inch baking dish. Mince 5 garlic cloves; mix in 1 teaspoon salt. Rub garlic mixture into chicken. Mix lemon juice, 2 tablespoons oil, 2 tablespoons rosemary, lemon peel and sugar in small bowl. Pour over chicken. Season with pepper. Cover; chill up to 3 hours. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place cannellini in large skillet. 1 pound dried spaghetti or linguine 3 slices firm white sandwich bread 1 onion 3 large garlic cloves 8 to 10 bottled or canned flat anchovy fillets a 12-ounce jar roasted red peppers a 2 1/4-ounce jar pitted green olives (about 3/4 cup) 6 tablespoons olive oil 1 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leafed parsley leaves Fill a 6-quart pasta pot three fourths full with salted water and bring to a boil for pasta. Tear bread into pieces and in a blender or food processor pulse to make coarse crumbs. Finely chop onion. Mince garlic. Rinse anchovies and pat dry. In a sieve rinse and drain peppers and olives. I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver cut right in front of a pickup truck causing him to have to drive on to the shoulder to avoid hitting her. This evidently angered the driver enough that he hung his arm out his window and flipped the woman off. "Man, that guy is stupid!" I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in traffic and here's why: I drive 48 miles each way every day to work, that's 96 miles each day. Of these, 16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper. Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8 lane highway so if you just look at the 7 lanes I am not in, that means I pass something like a new car every 40 feet per lane. That's 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles. That works out to be 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars. I Am Home
Well My Fellow Cherries!!! I am home now. I went in at 4am this morning and had my ovary removed, the Doc said everything went GREAT and they were able to harvest right at 200 good eggs, so that's good news. I feel good, just a little fuzzy headed...lol. The Doc's also said that they got it all and they are still going to do the low dose radiation treatments twice a week for 2 weeks, starting in a few weeks. LMAOOOOO they also said that I can't have sex for a while....oh well, guess I'll make up for that later. Just want to let everyone know that my spirit has not been broke by this. Count Them Blessings
Some days I forget to count my blessings & I let myself see mole hills as mountains. Its a human trait i guess. It helps when your feeling a little run down, be that physically, mentally or spiritually (yes it is possible) to get yourself in a state of 'why me...not fair...bleah life'. These days are challenging. I find myself inactive on days i feel bad. I loose all motivation to just move...and i also find myself feeling very tired. Survival Training In Japan!!
Today began “Survival Training in Japan,” led by Goto. I had a traditional Japanese breakfast, Jim had a westerner/Japanese breakfast, and David just had a westerner breakfast. Then Goto took us to Toyota head quarters where we met A LOT of people. Of course the language barrier was there, many of the people we met did not speak English, and of course we don’t speak Japanese (trying to learn!!), but it was fun. We saw several Toyota Partner Robots (the whole reason we’re here), the labs where they’re worked on, and different parts of the Toyota factory. After that we had lunch, again traditional Japanese (for all of us), then after lunch we were introduced to EVERYONE, by standing in the front of a room, while Goto told everyone our names, and positions, and that we were from Toyota in the United States, here for training. Then we went to another Toyota plant in another city where we saw the “prep” area before shows. That was cool, they even demonstrated one of the robots playing a tru

Soaring Free....That is how i am feeling after i got my divorced from my husband for almost two years now. Scared of being alone and looking after three children kept me in that unhealthy relationship. Years after years i put up with it coz i wanted to work things out.
